Obssessed. With these carrots. Sauteed with a good olive oil, coarse sea salt and mission fig balsamic vinegar. Simple and amazing. Yep-just tooted my own horn. Toot. Toot. Been feeling a little blue working through an injury, but being restricted from doing certain things has made me 'fall' back into the kitchen just in time for autumn! Sometimes we just have to find the silver lining in situations-I've been meaning to come back to my roots with my love for cooking and baking and having people over to share a meal. Much needed outing to the 123Farm for much needed inspiration because I need a farm in my life. Picked up these beauties with the intentions of cooking up a colorful dish, but the veggies from @goodiefarm were so good raw...just ended up eating them as they were paired with some amazing cheese and honey!! Oookay...I am super happy how these little guys turned out. After the hot chocolate adventures and the wonders of melting marshmallows, I thought (inspired by the kiddos and the kiddo myself) wouldn't it be cool to.have a melting snowman ⛄ in the hot chocolate?? So I came up with the "Melty Marshmallow Snowman" named Marshall😂 with chocolate chip buttons because a little more chocolate won't hurt. He can be dressed up in all your favorite flavors to accompany your hot chocolate needs😊😊😊. Hot Chocolate with Vanilla bean, 70% Guanaja Valrhona Chocolate and Oatly Milk...and Toasted Homemade Vanilla Bean Marshmallows. Late night concoctions. I haven't had hot chocolate in so long because of the milk, but I adapted a recipe this time from @halfbakeharvest (she's super amazing) to a dairy-free (vegan if you take off the marshmallows) version and grated cinnamon to top it off. Any who, this was my first attempt and it is staying all winter. It's a great after dinner drink especially with the velvety smooth Valrhona Chocolate🤤.
